I may not have gotten much sleep last night...
But I was ready to go and on the SCOTUS blog by 9:45am.
And at 10:00am... DOMA was struck down!
We had to listen as Scalia read his dissent.
Then Roberts dissented, too.
And Alito.
There was no sweeping ruling declaring same-sex marriage to be legal in all states,
since the defendants in Hollingsworth v. Perry were found to lack standing...
But it's still a great day for the gays.
(Though yesterday's Voting Rights Act decision is still an embarrassment for us all.)
